The ballot for the Executive Committee elections closed on 31 August 2013.
The seven candidates elected are: Sabine Coquillart, David Duke, Markus Gross, Diego Gutierrez, Wolfgang Heidrich, Hans-Peter Seidel, and Anders Ynnerman. Each will serve for a 3 year term of office commencing 1 January 2014. For more details see HERE.
During the Annual Conference EUROGRAPHICS'2013 in Girona, Spain, one new Honorary Fellow and three new Fellows of the Association were elected by the Executive Committee.
Honorary Fellow: David Duce, Oxford Brookes University, UK.
Reinhard Klein, University of Bonn, Germany,
Wolfgang Heidrich, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada,
Philipp Slusallek, Saarland University of Saarbrücken, Germany.
Furthermore, two new Honorary Members were elected:
Stefanie Behnke, Graz University of Technology, Austria,
Werner Hansmann, University of Hamburg, Germany.
All have significantly contributed to the development of Computer Graphics and/or to the organisation of the Eurographics Association.
The Günter Enderle Award for the best paper presented at Eurographics'2013 in Girona, Spain, was given to
B. Spencer and M.W. Jones: Photon Parameterisation for Robust Relaxation Constraints.
Y. Inger, Z. Farbman, D. Lischinski: Locally Adaptive Products for All-Frequency Relighting
received an Honorable Mention.
