DESCRIPTION:Workshop on Molecular Graphics and Visual Analysis of Molecular Data 2020\nco-located with EuroVis & Eurographics 2020 – May 25th\, 2020\, Norrköping\, Sweden\nMolecular visualization and graphics is one of the oldest branches of scientific visualization\, which has been developing for over 50 years. Due to the continuous advances in both computational biology and computer graphics techniques\, molecular graphics and visualization are very active areas of research. Not only the ever-increasing dataset sizes yield a constant challenge for visual analysis\, but also new technologies like advances in web-based graphics or augmented and virtual reality open new possibilities. This half-day multidisciplinary workshop – which is held in conjunction with EuroVis for the third time and with Eurographics for the first time – brings together visualization and computer graphics researchers working with molecular data.

DESCRIPTION:The 31st edition of Eurographics Symposium on Rendering returns once again (after 19 years!) to London\, and will be held from June 30th to July 2nd\, 2020. The main venue for EGSR 2020 is the South Kensington campus of Imperial College London (right next to multiple Museums\, Royal Albert Hall\, and Hyde Park)\, and it will be jointly organized by the Realistic Graphics and Imaging group at Imperial College and the Virtual Environments and Computer Graphics group at University College London (UCL). As part of the joint organization\, an evening social event will be hosted at UCL on June 30th. EGSR will be preceded by the 8th annual Workshop on Material Appearance Modeling (MAM) on June 29th. In this research area\, concepts from mathematics\, computer science\, and engineering are studied and applied to offer new insights and design efficient algorithms for acquisition\, modeling\, analysis\, manipulation\, simulation and other types of processing of 3D models and shape collections. \nThe symposium will be held on the 6-8 July in Utrecht\, The Netherlands.\nAn attached Graduate School will be held in the weekend 4-5 July 2020.
