The conference aims to bring together researchers, teachers and professionals in the areas of Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Computer Vision and Human-Computer Interaction, allowing the dissemination of concluded or ongoing work, as well as the exchange of experiences between the academic, industrial and end-user communities.
Since 2018, the proceedings of ICGI are published in the IEEE Digital Library

Organisation
ICGI is organised by the Portuguese chapter of Eurographics (GPCGI). GPCGI aims to bring together members of the Portuguese Association EUROGRAPHICS. Its main objective to promote the spread of Computer Graphics and Interaction in Portugal, at Research and Development and Education. Among its main activities, is to hold an annual meeting to address research activities on Computer Graphics and Interaction. The GPCGI has connections to several groups of R&D.
