Organisation
The Italian Chapter of the Eurographics Association was founded in 2001. Its mission is to promote Computer Graphics (CG) and Visual Computing in Italy, and to provide a means of communication between people interested in those fields.
In particular, it organizes meetings, congresses, symposia, discussion groups and workshops on topics of common interest related to CG and Visual Computing. It continuously disseminates information about this research domain through e-mail, websites, press releases, and it establishes and maintains relations with other similar national or international associations, e.g., other local Eurographics chapters. It also disseminates the activities carried out at the Eurographics Association, and promotes the initiatives of the Eurographics Association among its own members and the italian scientific community.
