Organisation
The organization of the annual Eurographics Symposium on Visual Computing in Biology and Medicine (VCBM), to bring together this diverse community is the main task of the VCBM working group. The symposium was first organized in 2008, and is now hosted yearly. Further, the working group organizes the bi-annual Dirk Bartz Prize, award bi-annually at the EuroVis conference and the Bio+Med+Vis Summerschool, usually co-located with the annual VCBM Symposium.
