Education Board

Mission

Quality education is a crucial condition for a prosperous professional career. That is why the Eurographics Association is also dedicated to pedagogy in Computer Graphics and related areas such as Visualization, User Interfaces, Computer Games, Multimedia, VR/AR/XR, and others.

The members of the Education Board are experienced educators who are very often also engaged in research:

  • They actively participate in education programs at Eurographics conferences – as reviewers, IPC co-chairs, and session chairs.
  • They encourage connections between teachers and researchers.
  • They disseminate information about successful pedagogical activities, including exciting student project assignments, the use of software tools and systems in courses, and innovative teaching practices.
  • They motivate other educators to evaluate the results of their work and to publish their best know-how in the form of conference and journal articles.
