Organization
The Eurographics Working Group on Virtual Environments (EGVE) organizes a yearly Symposium on all kinds of topics in the field of Extended Reality (XR). In 2014, it has partnered with ICAT to form the
ICAT-EGVE is a merger of the International Conference on Artificial Reality and Telexistence (ICAT) and the Eurographics Symposium on Virtual Environments (EGVE). Together, these are two of the oldest international conferences in the world on Artificial Reality and Virtual Environments.
The conference, which is held every year with in person attendance, features a technical program of papers, keynote talks, posters and demos on topics such as Virtual Environments, Telexistence, the Metaverse, AI in Extended Realities, and Virtual Social Interactions in VR/AR/MR/XR.

One speciality of our working group is that we collaborate closely with the Japanese peer organisation ICAT, with whom we organise the annual conference ICAT-EGVE.
